Description for Henry's LakeHenrys Lake is a small, shallow natural alpine lake, approximately 8 square miles. It is located in the mountains of southeastern Idaho. The river is named after Andrew Henry who arrived in 1810 employed by the Missouri Fur Company. The lake serves as the headwaters of Henrys Fork. The lake offers a world renowned fishery for brook, cutthroat trout, and cut-bow. The lake is known for its large trout population and trophy sized catches including state record brookies and cut-bows over the 10 pound mark.
