The Imnaha is a smaller river flowing out of the Eagle Cap Wilderness, through the Wallowa County, and into the Snake River near Hells Gate on the Idaho / Oregon border. The river is roughly 60 miles long and has a rainbow and steelhead fishery. There is good road access on the upper and lower river. The steelhead run begins in September and runs into April. Chinook run on the Imnaha but there is no open season for them.
