Coffeepot Lake located in eastern Washington is bordered by BLM land. The surrounding area is distinguished by its striking basalt cliffs. The lake is remotely located (roughly 1 - 2 hours from Spokane) but can be reached from Coffeepot Road off of Highway 28. The lake has a campground and boat launch. The fishery is known for its rainbow trout but also holds perch, crappie, and largemouth bass. It is a popular destination for fly anglers primarily in the spring and early summer.
