Still the same deal on the St. Joe this week, nothing really new to update. The St. Joe River has been dropping and at a good level. A couple weeks ago reports from our friend Nancy and Kenyon from the shop were pretty positive. Nancy had good streamer fishing and Kenyon reported good nymphing. For streamers a little larger profile doesn't hurt in the winter, for nymphs patterns like red copper johns, princes, pat's rubber legs, san juans, etc. Key right now is finding the right water. Slower is better, deeper is good. It's January, don't forget that. But worth poking around if you want out of the house. Stick to the lower river below Marble for your best odds.
